A Blind Eye

So, I've recently discovered that my degu, Barney, has gone blind in his right eye, and it looks like his vision may be going in his left one as well.

The cataracts may have been caused by diabetes (as degus are very prone to diabetes), or his age.
Either way, me and my twin sister are making sure he's happy and safe with his cage buddy, Hikari.

Luckily, if his vision does completely go, he'd be able to feel around the cage with his whiskers, as a lot of whiskered animals do.
