This is the Roborovski Dwarf Hamster that I gave to my little sister for her last birthday. We just refer to it as "Hammy", as we're pretty unsure of its gender; the pet shop said it was female, but I could swear that I felt male parts whilst I was handling "her" when my little sister was cleaning out the cage.

Hammy is incredibly quick, and "she" can leap out of your hand in less than a blink of the eye. Which makes it difficult to handle her. As from what happened in the pet shop with the other Roborovski hamsters, I think it's a common trait of this type. So, I'd recommend them to experienced pet owners. Definitely not a hamster for young children.
